Wyoming Department of Corrections Reentry Program
Description
Wyoming Department of Corrections Reentry and Community Resources is a government run organization tasked with easing the reentry process. The purpose of the release process is to prepare individuals in Wyoming correctional facilities for successful reintegration. Providing support services, referrals and case management helps to reduce recidivism and address mass incarceration across the state. The office provides services that include treatment, housing, supervision, employment, education, healthcare, and other services. Individuals may be eligible to receive institutional services such as CDL renewal assistance, child support modification, case management, health care resources, pre-release curriculum to prepare individuals for the barriers they may face, vital records obtainment, and referrals to treatment centers and housing programs. The goal is to ensure that no individual leaves Wyoming Department of Corrections facilities unprepared for a successful reintegration.
