The Weston County Public Defender's Office is located in Gillette, WY. With one Supervising Attorney and other legal support staff, this Public Defender's office represents indigent defendants in Weston County. This office is charged with representing the county's indigent clients in criminal defense cases. The right to counsel guaranteed to every American citizen accused of a crime is embodied in the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution and applicable to the states through the Fourteenth Amendment.
