Exponents
Description
Exponents is a community based organization that offers services to individuals facing barriers to healthy, sustainable living. The organization was developed to provide support for individuals living with HIV or AIDS, those in recovery for chemical dependence, formerly incarcerated individuals and those managing mental health crises. Their mission is to offer services that put the client first, empower individuals and set all clients up for long term success. Exponents offer services in three core areas: treatment and recovery, educational opportunities and vocational services. Justice involved individuals and those seeking treatment for substance abuse may be eligible for Exponents drug treatment and re-entry services. These services include a clothing pantry, peer and individualized recovery services, outpatient services and a number of programs that educate individuals on prevention and management of HIV/AIDS. They also provide several vocational programs designed to help individuals reenter the workforce following incarceration or time in a treatment center.
