The Restart Program is a faith based program for individuals in need operated out of the Abundant Life in Christ Church. Abundant Life in Christ Church is a church in the heart of downtown Bloomington that shares the gospel with people on the edges of society on a daily basis by supporting both the physical and spiritual needs of community members. Staff and volunteers want to see people restores through the power of bible based teachings and have permanent life changes that include overcoming chemical dependence, navigating barriers to self-sufficient living and disrupting the cycle of incarceration. They welcome individuals experiencing homelessness, those with criminal convictions and those recovering from chemical dependence. The Restart Program offers a family grounded in faith and the opportunity to grow as individuals while providing outreach to other community members in need. ReStart exists to offer transitional housing and to assist people achieve sustainable living with permanent housing, jobs and a continued connection to spiritual health.
