Alaska Bar Association offers resources for free and reduced cost legal services to residents of Alaska that are unable to afford an attorney. Their virtual advice clinic, Alaska Free Legal Answers, is offered for qualified applicants seeking legal answers by licensed pro bono attorneys in Alaska. They cover topics such as divorce and custody, housing and eviction, consumer and civil rights, employment and unemployment, education law and more. In addition, Alaska Bar Association provides a list of qualified pro bono legal service providers licensed to work in the state of Alaska. For pro se residents needing a la carte services, Alaska Bar Association offered unbundled legal services, where attorneys are able to provide one service as opposed to full representation. These unbundles services include investigation, research, legal advice, evaluation, document preparation, discovery, planning negotiations, procedural assistance and more.
