Another Chance – House of Refuge
Another Chance House of Refuge is a community-based organization developed to support men reentering the community after incarceration. Their mission is to uplift formerly incarcerated men through the combined support of residential services, educational opportunities, job development and financial planning assistance. The organization offers several programs which target specific underserved populations. The Minority Youth Virtual Apprenticeship offers opportunities for young people from underserved communities to apprentice with professionals and develop the skills to enter a career after graduation. Reveille Warriors is a veteran assistance program that offers referrals and support registering for key services developed for the unique needs of veterans and their loved ones. The Resource Center offers individualized case management for low-income individuals. The Youth Promise Project serves young people through mentorship and coaching to promote healthy, productive lifestyle choices.
