Area Substance Abuse Council
The Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) is a community based organization offering treatment services to individuals in need. They are a leader in offering chemical dependence and problem gambling prevention, treatment and recovery support throughout Eastern Iowa including Linn, Jackson, Jones, Clinton, Benton, Delaware and Dubuque counties. Area Substance Abuse Council is licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Division of Behavioral Health, to treat substance use and gambling disorders. Their services follow the continuum of care, which starts with prevention and intervention then moves through the different levels of treatment to recovery and continuing care. Area Substance Abuse Council boasts the highest level of accreditation, and has been independently assessed by CARF International and found to offer exceptional patient care.
