Bexar County Reentry Center Program
Description
The Bexar County Reentry Center Program is a subdivision of the Bexar County criminal justice system that supports reintegration efforts. The office is tasked with doing everything possible to ensure that formerly incarcerated individuals have access to community programs and networks that will assist with the reentry process. This includes referrals to residential programs, treatment centers and employment networks, as well as direct support through a court-appointed supervising officer. The mission of the Bexar County Reentry Center Program is to disrupt the cycle of recidivism and give justice involved individuals the best chance at successful reintegration by preparing them for the barriers they may face due to criminal convictions and helping to guide them toward solutions that address those barriers without violating the terms of their release. For more information about the program, individuals are encouraged to use the contact information provided on the Bexar County Reentry Center Program website.
