BROC Community Action

Description

BROC Community Action is a nonprofit organization on a mission to provide hope, opportunity and a path out of crisis and poverty. Services are provided to Vermonters in the counties of Rutland and Bennington. BROC's Community Justice Center offers various reentry and restorative justice programs for justice-impacted people. The Reentry Navigation program connects and refers citizens coming out of incarceration to community resources and agencies that provide a wide range of services. The Reparative Restorative Justice Panel (RRJP) Program focuses on people who have committed non-violent misdemeanor offenses. The RRJP Program seeks to provide services that intend to restore the community through intervention. BROC's Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) is a group of 3-5 trained volunteers who support an individual coming out of incarceration and re-entering a community. COSA aims to repair the relationships between the released person and the community by offering restorative activities. Contact BROC Community Action directly for more information on their services.
