Community Music Center (CMC) is a nonprofit organization that provides music education and performance opportunities to individuals of all ages and backgrounds in San Francisco, California. Established in 1921, CMC offers various programs, including individual lessons, group classes, ensemble and orchestra programs, and community concerts. The organization is committed to making music education accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial means, and offers scholarships and sliding-scale tuition. CMC's faculty of highly trained and experienced musicians are dedicated to nurturing students' musical abilities and fostering a love of music.
Through its programs and performances, CMC enriches the cultural life of the San Francisco Bay Area and creates opportunities for personal growth and community engagement.
