DAWN Clinic
Description
The DAWN Clinic is a student-run facility that provides free healthcare to uninsured residents of Aurora, Colorado. The mission of The DAWN Clinic is to transform health care in the Aurora community, empower the underserved, and inspire future leaders in health care. Through teamwork and collaboration of community partners, DAWN Clinic is able to meet the unique needs of each individual and provide patient centered care. Eligible patients must be older than 18, live in Original Aurora, and do not have health insurance. The clinic has open hours on Tuesday evening from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on a first come first serve basis, although appointments are also available. Health services include dermatology, ophthalmology, optometry, pulmonology, neurology, rheumatology, psychology, women's health, and diabetes education. Additionally, DAWN Clinic offers testing for HIV, lipid panel for cholesterol, blood sugar for diabetes, strep throat and influenza.
