Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing
Description
Grace and Mercy Transitional Housing is a faith-based organization committed to supporting men and women during their reentry after incarceration. The cornerstone of their program is a safe, stable living environment where formerly incarcerated men and women can develop a strong relationship with Christ and a supportive community of peers. The home offers an opportunity for residents to establish a physical address, utilize a community phone for messaging and begin the work of reintegrating into the community. Grace and Mercy Transitional Housing collaborates with social service organizations in the area to ensure that all residents have access to both on-site and extended services, including: transportation assistance, job development courses, resume assistance, counseling and rehabilitation treatment. Their hope is that the combination of concrete services and spiritual guidance will help justice involved individuals permanently reintegrate and break the cycle of incarceration. For more information about specific services or to inquire about availability, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
