Martin House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that offers housing and other support services to impoverished individuals in the Norwich, Connecticut area. Since opening their doors in 1982, Martin House, Inc. has been committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals in need. Martin House, Inc, has the capacity to house 54 men and women over the age of 18. Program participants are typically struggling with homelessness, poverty, substance use disorder, and/or mental health crisis. Residents must pay a small program fee that includes room and board, utilities, 24 hour staffing, and three prepared meals per day. In addition to housing and basic survival necessities, participants are provided with personalized case management, individual recovery plans, financial counseling, life skills training, education opportunities, transportation assistance, and behavioral health services.
