National Center for Reason and Justice
Description
The National Center for Reason and Justice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to equitable justice. Their mission is to participate in direct advocacy for legislative protections and criminal justice reform based in science. The organization lends support to individuals who are facing false accusations of crimes against children and those who are incarcerated due to wrongful conviction. National Center for Reason and Justice partners with other organizations and community leaders committed to criminal justice reform that better serves individuals and helps to eradicate mass incarceration. Their work includes professional and community education, distilling misconceptions about crimes against children spurred by fear mongering and misinformation. They also partner with Innocence Project chapters across the country, work to promote laws and investigation that prioritize the truth over swift convictions, and to act as a tac deductible sponsor for groups who are supporting the innocent as they face criminal charges.
