Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida

Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving underrepresented individuals in Central Florida. The organization focuses its efforts on specialized services to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness. Their mission is to address the nearly 30,000 people in Florida who are currently without homes. Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida operates a temporary shelter which provides immediate housing assistance for individuals experiencing crisis. This Safe Haven program functions as short-term housing while individuals navigate the most challenging parts of life. The organization also maintains an emergency shelter for individuals who require safe housing in emergency situations. Community members experiencing food insecurity may be eligible for community meals. Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida provides these meals to local shelters, and to individual community members in need. Staff coordinate with other local organizations to provide services to individuals that may require more specialized or long-term assistance.
