STRIVE Atlanta

STRIVE Atlanta is a community based organization that offers programs to help prepare individuals to enter the workforce. Their flagship program is Career Path, a program developed to offer job readiness skills and essential training for students who are preparing for full-time employment. The program begins with STRIVE START, which offers valuable coursework on the habits and mindsets necessary to become a quality employee. The program also includes job skills training, career mentorship and assistance with job placement. The Fresh Start program is designed to support individuals exiting treatment centers and formerly incarcerated individuals. Participants in the program receive referrals to community housing programs, treatment services and case management as they move through a career development curriculum designed for justice involved individuals. The goal is to offer free and targeted support that will assist formerly incarcerated individuals with entering the workforce and becoming financially independent.
