The Samaritan House
The Samaritan House is the first and oldest halfway house serving vulnerable community members in all of Las Vegas, Nevada. For nearly fifty years, staff have worked hard to offer residential services, counseling, treatment services, life skills development and food security to individuals returning to the community after incarceration or exiting treatment facilities. The mission of the organization is to offer holistic services and spiritual support for individuals recovering from substance abuse disorder, including those who struggled with alcohol and/or drug addiction, as well as individuals who require treatment for intensive mental health disorders. Those at the Samaritan House believe that all individuals deserve compassion and support regardless of their background, and they strive to help residents achieve independent living, permanent recovery from substance abuse and a second chance at life.
