Timelist Group is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting individuals impacted by incarceration, poverty, educational and employment barriers. They provide a multitude of services in order to best serve individuals and families, including: educational programming, self improvement workshops, reentry services, residential services and youth violence prevention support. Their Change Academy was developed to help formerly incarcerated individuals work toward sustainable, long term employment. The curriculum helps participants acquire soft skills in communication and technology, build resumes, complete job applications and prepare for interviews. Timelist Group also works with currently incarcerated individuals to prepare them for reintegration. The organization runs a workshop series for individuals recovering from domestic violence, gang participation and more. They also have reentry housing communities available for men exiting Los Angeles County corrections facilities. Both men and women have access to employment assistance, educational support, peer mentorship, case management and assistance obtaining government documents during reentry into the community.
