UC Davis School of Law – Legal Clinics

Description

The UC Davis School of Law Legal Clinics have offered advocacy and legal services to community members for more than sixty years. Their mission is to offer legal advice and representation to indigent individuals, and most especially individuals who typically lack access to quality litigation services like undocumented immigrants and survivors of domestic abuse situations. The UC Davis School of Law maintains four physical clinics, each with a specific focus. These clinics include the Immigration Law Clinic, the Civil Rights Clinic, the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic, the Aoki Water Justice Clinic and the Aoki Social Justice Clinic. Each of these clinics offers targeted advice to individuals, as well as representation in certain legal matters. The goal of each clinic is to empower traditionally disenfranchised groups and to ensure that justice extends to all members of the community.
