Wheeler mission is a faith-based nonprofit organization serving community members experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Though the organization is motivated by Christian principles, Wheeler Mission is nondenominational and serves all community members regardless of religious background. Staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing holistic services for low-income individuals and those experiencing homelessness to help break the cycle of longterm housing insecurity. Wheeler Mission operates a men's residential program which offers case management, emergency shelter and basic necessities to men in the community without a home. They also offer treatment services and residential services to individuals in recovery for chemical dependence. Wheeler Mission also maintains separate residential services for women and single mothers experiencing homelessness, as well as women in recovery.
