Willing Helpers Medical Clinic is a community-based health center committed to ensuring access to medical services regardless of income. Their mission is to offer high-quality health services to individuals who are currently uninsured and/or cannot afford to pay for the care they require. Before their first appointment, patients of Willing Helpers Medical Clinic must prove that they meet eligibility requirements. Individuals must be prepared to provide photo identification, proof of residency in Newton County, proof of current income status, a referral or letter of support, and financial information about monthly expenses. Those who are unsure of their eligibility may use the quiz provided on the Willing Helpers Medical Clinic website. All services provided by staff at the clinic is free for patients. Staff are equipped to assist with treatment of some chronic illnesses including seizures, diabetes and blood pressure management. They are not, however, able to provide one-time appointments. All patients of Willing Helpers Medical Clinic must first undergo intake before scheduling appointments for acute or chronic issues.
