1240 to 3:16 Ministries is a faith-based organization committed to offering mentorship and spiritual guidance to incarcerated individuals. The organization was founded on the basis of recovery and to share the power of Christ centered teaching in the journey out of chemical addiction. Since its inception, the ministry has worked to bring bible study and fellowship to individuals inside the corrections system. Volunteers spread the gospel and offer hope to individuals when they are at their lowest. 1240 to 3:16 Ministries also collects and distributes food to low-income community members and others experiencing food insecurity. Their volunteers help to raise funds and donated items to support additional mission work abroad, but their focus remains the rehabilitation and spiritual healing of justice involved individuals. The organization hopes to disrupt the cycle of incarceration and bring more individuals on a path of success as they exit the corrections system.
