Accountability Brothers is a faith based organization committed to reducing incarceration rates through the healing power of faith. Staff and volunteers work to intercept individuals returning to the community after incarceration and to provide the support they need to break the cycle of recidivism. Participants in the program are asked to commit to a sober lifestyle and a promise of honesty. Accountability Brothers serves justice involved adult men during and after incarceration, with the hope that no man returns to prison after release. Their approach consists of individualized problem solving, community outreach and personal mentorship during the reentry process. They also offer practical supports like assistance finding stable living environments, accessing food and clothing, traveling in the city and obtaining employment.
