ACLU Massachusetts

The American Civil Liberties Union is one of the largest advocacy groups in the United States focused on social justice for all individuals. ACLU Massachusetts is a nonprofit organization that serves and supports individuals throughout the commonwealth through advocacy, policy making and direct support for individuals whose rights have been violated. They work directly toward criminal justice reform that will reduce incarceration rates, divest from police departments and redistribute funds to community-based programs. They also advocate for equitable treatment in the workforce, including for justice-impacted individuals. ACLU Massachusetts works to increase transparency in police departments and address systemic racism in the criminal justice system. Individuals can contact the program directly for information or to discuss potential representation when their rights have been denied.
