ACLU Pennsylvania

The American Civil Liberties Union is one of the largest advocacy groups in the nation focused exclusively on social justice equity. ACLU Pennsylvania is a regional partner of the nationwide organization, bridging core ACLU values with the specific needs of individuals in Pennsylvania. Their mission is to defend and protect constitutional rights for all Pennsylvanians through a combination of advocacy, legislation, policy work and litigation. They center the issues of voting rights, due process, immigrant rights and police accountability. Current campaigns include MDJs: The Judges Who Set the Bail, which focuses on the injustices around cash bail systems, and Trans Justice, a campaign to increase protections for trans individuals living in Pennsylvania. Individuals can contact the organization directly for more information or to discuss potential representation if their rights have been denied.
