ACLU Wyoming

The ACLU of Wyoming works to protect the civil rights and individual liberties enshrined in the U.S. and Wyoming Constitutions. Their mission is built to ensure that those who have historically been denied their rights are afforded the same protections as everyone else, including people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, prisoners, and Wyoming Native peoples. The ACLU of Wyoming works in the courts to ensure that your constitutional rights are being defended and protected, and your civil liberties are expanded. They specialize in impact litigation, legislative advocacy and education. The ACLU of Wyoming educates legislators about ACLU of Wyoming positions, drafts legislation on priority issues, lobbies and testifies on bills affecting civil liberties, work in coalition, and are newly tapping into Wyoming's grassroots power to push for positive change and take on defensive battles in the community.
