The Alice King Family Center is an organization that facilitates family visits to prisoners at the Santa Fe County Adult Correctional Facility. The center serves approximately 200 persons per month of which over half are children and their doors are open every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. A lunch, plus snacks and drinks are served each day. The Alice King Family Center's mission is to support and encourage visits by families and friends of inmates. In order to achieve this, the center offers craft activities, games, and outside supervised play for the children, as well as providing appropriate clothing for visits when needed, advocates for visits, and information on other relevant services.
