Anne Arundel County Police Department's Re-Entry and Community Collaboration works to support formerly incarcerated individuals. Their mission is to provide participants with marketable and transferable skills that give them the best chance at career opportunities and self sufficient living. The goal of the collaborative is for all participants to develop the mindsets and skills necessary to be productive members of society. Anne Arundel County Police Department's Re-Entry and Community Collaboration is the first step in what will become a more comprehensive, county-wide effort to offer holistic assistance to any Anne Arundel County resident in need. Currently, various partners within the collaborative offer: treatment for substance abuse recovery, mental health services, assistance pursuing a GED, vocational training and job placement services, family reunification support, assistance obtaining government documents and more.
