Boise Rescue Mission Ministries

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization offering support services and spiritual guidance to community members. The organization currently serves individuals across Boise, Nampa and southwest Idaho who are experiencing times of crisis. Boise Rescue Mission Ministries maintains four emergency shelters across the region. The River of Life Men's Shelter serves men experiencing homelessness, recovering from chemical dependence or in need of emergency housing during reentry. City Light Home for Women and Children and Valley Women and Children's Shelter both serve women and children, including those who are escaping domestic violence situations and those experiencing housing insecurity. Rescue Mission Recovery Lodge is a large facility designed to serve individuals with medical conditions that cannot be adequately served in other emergency shelters. Residents at all shelters receive safe housing and basic necessities, as well as bible-based counseling and compassionate support as they navigate their individual struggles. For more information about a specific shelter or to request entry into the program, individuals should contact Boise Rescue Mission Ministries directly.
