Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is a nonprofit organization comprised of community organizations and agencies to fight homelessness. Their mission is to work in partnership with community leaders, state and local organizations toward a common goal of preventing homelessness throughout Colorado and developing long-term, sustainable solutions to end homelessness in the state. They believe in a continuum of care model, providing support and services for individuals at every stage of housing emergency, as well as access to health services, wellness support and stable living. Staff and volunteers are trained to provide trauma-informed care, which ensures that individuals seeking assistance do not feel judged or unwanted by community members. Colorado Coalition for the Homeless understands that the vast majority of individuals experiencing housing emergencies may be survivors of domestic abuse, veterans experiencing mental health crisis, individuals with traumatic brain injuries and individuals recovering from chemical dependence. They are committed to providing care that meets the unique needs of every individual without prejudice.
