Section Title

Colorado Department of Corrections Parole and Re-Entry Services

The Colorado Department of Corrections Parole and Reentry team focus on the needs of the formerly incarcerated. Their goal is to assist with a successful transition back into the community after release. The Parole and Reentry team maintains a broad database of materials, from helpful links and sources to a searchable database of policies. Members of the Leadership Team focus on the unique needs of those exiting incarceration, especially those with terms set by the conditions of their parole or early release. They actively connect with community organizations that serve formerly incarcerated individuals, provide references to residential and recovery centers, and help currently incarcerated individuals prepare for their release. Staff understand that one of the most common reasons for recidivism is a lack of support upon release, and they work hard to ensure that all individuals are prepared for the barriers they will face.
