The Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage Clinic offers accessible health care to community members regardless of income. Staff and volunteers are committed to ensuring that all individuals have access to basic medical services regardless of income status or insurance. GAPI Clinic is housed in the Global Mall. Individuals must meet eligibility requirements in order to receive care, including proof of income status and the inability to carry insurance or Medicaid. Primary care and dental care consultations are provided to adults and children at no cost. However, laboratory services may include reduced fees. GAPI Clinic also assists with some medication management and provides flu shots at reduced cost to qualifying individuals. Patients who require acute care or treatment for chronic illnesses can visit GAPI Clinic for a referral. Currently, the clinic is open to patients during the afternoon on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. For more information, individuals are encouraged to visit the clinic in person.
