Gateway Foundation Corrections is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals during and after incarceration. They focus their efforts on currently incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals with substance abuse issues that contribute to their incarceration. The goal is to help reduce recidivism rates by treating the underlying factors of criminal behavior and rehabilitating participants rather than simply punishing them. As one of the largest nonprofit organizations treating justice involved individuals, Gateway Foundation Corrections is proud to offer treatment programs for currently incarcerated individuals, those returning to the community, and those who require ongoing services through day treatment programs. The organization offers treatment services for individuals housed in Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey and Texas state facilities. These programs include therapeutic intervention, medication management, peer mentorship, and coursework. Gateway Foundation Corrections also offers reentry programming for individuals who returning to the community and at risk of reoffense due to substance abuse issues.
