Good News Outreach

Good News Outreach is a faith-based organization committed to supporting individuals who face barriers to living independently. Their Maryland Oaks Housing program offers residential services to low income individuals and families who struggle with the financial strain of owning a home. Participation in the program requires that participants meet income guidelines, affirm that they have no convictions for sex based crimes, prove they have not been evicted for at least three years prior to their application, and commit to participating in programming designed to help individuals work toward permanent financial stability. The Reentry Program offers residential services to individuals who are returning to the community after incarceration. In order to apply, individuals must work with corrections officers prior to release and provide a Department of Corrections number for processing. Good News Outreach also offers elderly services and support for veterans. For more information about specific services, contact the organization directly.
