Hope Medical Clinic

Hope Medical Clinic is a registered nonprofit organization that provides accessible healthcare to the greater Dover community. Their mission is to make healthcare more available to low-income residents by offering non-emergency primary care and dental care at no cost to patients. The clinic is currently not equipped to serve children or adults over the age of 65. Dental services are only available to adults over the age of 21. Hope Medical Clinic serves qualifying adults who are currently uninsured and have an income at or below 212% of the federal income poverty level. The organization website offers a chart to assist potential patients with identifying whether or not they meet income requirements for service. In addition, new patients must provide a photo id and proof of address, a recent Medicaid card or proof of denial from Medicaid, and financial documentation for at least one month. Additionally, new patients must provide two or more of the following: pay stub, proof of unemployment, child support documentation, disability documentation or the most recent income tax return.
