Independence House offers residential and out-patient services to individuals in recovery, experiencing mental health crises and returning to the community. Their services are expansive and serve individuals based on their needs. Those who qualify for residential services may live in one of three residential community correction centers. These centers are designed to provide a safe and stable living environment for justice involved individuals returning to the Denver area. The Pecos facility houses up to 75 male residents from DOC Transition and Denver County Diversion centers. The South Federal facility is co-ed and assists individuals assigned through BOP to serve in a transition home for 60 to 180 days before release. In addition to residential services, Independence House offers out-patient programming. Their program is licensed through the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health to offer recovery services, as well as to treat those with mental health needs and justice involved individuals.
