LEAP

Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential, or LEAP, works to promote positive societal change to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. For over 40 years, LEAP has worked with over 1,500 individuals annually by offering an array of comprehensive, high quality and award-winning programs and service. LEAP is a federally recognized Center for Independent Living. Their mission is to advance a society of equal opportunity for all individuals, regardless of disability. In order to to fulfill their mission, LEAP provides information, education, training, employment, and independent-living services to people with disabilities. In addition to support for the community, LEAP also advocates on local, state, and national levels for public policies that promote improvements in quality of life for people with disabilities. LEAP builds and maintains relationships throughout the Northeast Ohio community and strives to create fully accessible and integrated communities so that all individuals with disabilities can live, work, and learn without barriers.
