Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati

Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati is a nonprofit organization that has served clients in need for more than one hundred years. Their mission is to assist low-income individuals and families in need through pro bono services. These services may include representation during proceedings, assistance preparing legal documents and advice about how to resolve certain matters outside the court system. Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati believes strongly in ensuring equal access to justice regardless of income status, and they serve more than 15,000 individuals every year. This assistance helps resolve issues related to housing insecurity, domestic violence, access to quality healthcare and educational opportunities, as well as matters concerning guardianship and job discrimination. Eligible families and individuals must prove that they have a household income at or less than 200% of the federal poverty level. Additional eligibility requirements are discussed during the intake interview, the first step for all individuals inquiring about potential representation and assistance.
