Legal Aid Society of San Bernadino (L.A.S.S.B) is a California-based organization, with a mission to improve the lives of those in need, in San Bernardino County and surrounding communities, by providing counsel, education and legal services, regardless of ability to pay. They provide free legal services to qualified individuals in the areas of housing, conservatorship, guardianship, family law and some civil matters. LASSB provides holistic assistance to survivors of domestic violence, including restraining orders and orders for custody, dissolution, visitation, and support. Their Medical-Legal Partnership clinic provides patients with access to legal services. It is only available through health care providers that partner with LASSB. Their Unlawful Detainer Clinic provides holistic assistance to eligible tenants and landlords with unlawful detainer complaints and answers, as well as motion and discovery assistance. LASSB also advocates on behalf of Veterans to obtain life-sustaining income and health benefits. The Access to Justice clinic can help with Employment Law, U.D/Eviction Answers, Bankruptcy, Expungements and Probate.
