The Liberty County Reentry Coalition is a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to reduce recidivism, improve public safety and empower people. Their SOAR (Support, Opportunity, Advocacy, Resiliency) Re-Entry Center promotes public safety, reduced recidivism and empowerment to individuals. Their goals are to help people become productive, responsible, and law-abiding members of society; create and support positive opportunities for people to engage in pro-social activities, such as employee education, positive relationships and personal development; help people obtain and maintain long-term employment; help people access to care to address substance abuse issues and mental health needs; build capacity, partnerships and effective service delivery and maintain a strong and sustainable reentry services initiative to meet the unique needs of formerly incarcerated people.
