Life Transforming Ministries is a faith based organization committed to supporting underserved individuals in the community. They offer a number of services designed to support those who are most in need, including formerly incarcerated individuals. Their New Mornings Reentry Services program supports justice involved individuals both inside and outside prison through a combination of spiritual guidance and support services. Though they are no longer permitted to offer in-person services at Chester County Prison, volunteers remain committed to offering mentorship and guidance through correspondence. Additionally, the Women’s Discovery Group meets every week in the work release center of Chester County Prison to discuss the power of God’s word. For those who are returning to the community, Life Transforming Ministries prepares Grace Bags and Angel Tree support to ease the transition and ensure that all individuals have access to basic necessities in the days after incarceration.
