The Magnolia Medical Foundation health equity programs provide everyone the opportunity to “attain his or her full health potential”. They aim to address avoidable inequalities for all groups, with a focus on those who have experienced socioeconomic disadvantage or historical injustice. The “Win Them Back” program assists incarcerated juvenile and previously incarcerated individuals with a successful transition to their community after they are released. We help incarcerated juveniles and released incarcerated people transition back into society and their families. We provide the tools needed to make better choices. This program also assists ex-incarcerated people in finding jobs and training opportunities after release. Homebuyer Education is pre-purchase counseling. This class is for individuals who are planning to purchase their first home. Financial Literacy programs provide a basic understanding of how to manage your finances. These programs discuss topics that range from how to avoid predatory lending to credit counseling.
