The Massachusetts Committee For Public Counsel Services in Essex County has three divisional offices – a Children and Family Law Division (CAFL), a Youth Advocacy Division (YAD) SalemTrial Office, and a Public Defender Division (PDD) Salem Trial Office located in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The CAFL Trail office, with three Staff Attorneys, represents clients facing various felony charges. In addition, it’s YAD’s Trail office, with one Attorney-in-Charge, two Staff Counsel, and a Social Service Advocate, serves youth in the Essex County area, including the Salem, Lynn and Newburyport Juvenile Courts.
