Section Title

Missouri Reentry Process

Missouri Reentry Process is a subdivision of the Missouri Department of Corrections dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals. The office focus its efforts on four key barriers that returning citizens often face: financial and housing security, family reunification, treatment for substance abuse and/or mental health disorders, and disrupting the cycle of incarceration. Staff at Missouri Reentry Process believe that everyone deserves a second chance at life, and they work hard to connect justice involved individuals with the resources they need to successfully reintegrate into society. Their guiding principles include the understanding that all individuals are less likely to reoffend if they have access to stable housing and sustainable employment, and that spiritual healing can be extremely beneficial for the rehabilitation of certain individuals. The organization actively partners with community and state organizations that serve justice involved individuals.
