Orleans Parish District Attorney office, Conviction Integrity project

The Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office Conviction Accuracy and Integrity Project (OPDA) is a division whose mission is to protect the community while ensuring the justice system is truly providing justice. The project's goal is to secure real justice for victims by ensuring that the people who have caused severe harm are accurately identified and held accountable and deliver justice for those wrongly convicted. The OPDA works closely with Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO) to implement the Orleans Parish Conviction Accuracy and Integrity Project to make neighborhoods safer. The project will tackle past harms and work to prevent future harm. They are located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Their services include DNA testing in post-conviction reviews of violent felony offenses and investigating cold cases. If you would like to get more information on who is eligible for review by the OPDA Conviction Accuracy and Integrity Project, please contact them directly.
