PathStone is a community based nonprofit organization that takes a broad approach to supporting individuals who face barriers to self sufficiency. Their programs can be collapsed into four categories: workforce development, health and education services, community development, and residential support services. The workforce development programs center vocational training and job development that will assist formerly incarcerated and underserved individuals as they work to reenter the workforce. Health and educational services center opportunities that promote physical and mental wellness, as well as support pursing GEDs, higher education certificates and education that will assist with sustainable employment. Community development involves partnering with community stakeholders and organizations to enrich support opportunities for traditionally underserved individuals. Though they do not operate housing communities themselves, their residential services include assistance with financial management, coaching for independent living and assistance securing a living space.
