Providence Books Through Bars is a Rhode Island-based non-profit organization that provides reading material to incarcerated people. Their mission is to use donated books to provide free reading material for incarcerated people nationwide. They send books to men and women in prison all over the country. Incarcerated people can write to them requesting books, they send incarcerated people everything from mysteries, classics, fantasy novels and dictionaries, to books on science, history, psychology and learning a trade.
