Redeemed Community Outreach

Redeemed Community Outreach is a community based organization committed to serving women who face barriers to independent living. All participants in the program must live as a woman and maintain employment. In exchange, the women receive: a 12-18 month temporary stay, permanent housing assistance, help with deposit and first-month rent, assistance with furniture, agri-job training. Their goal is to intervene with women who are reentering the community after incarceration through wraparound services and extended access to safe, stable living environments. Staff and volunteers hope that the combination of holistic services and sustained peer mentorship, women in the program will develop a lifelong community of support and break the cycle of recidivism. They believe that healing begins with the basics: food, shelter and clothing. Until all individuals have access to these basics, many do not have a strong chance at permanently returning to the community. For more information, individuals should contact the organization directly.
