Rescue Mission of Salt Lake

The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that helps the homeless by providing assistance obtaining sobriety, employment, and housing. The Rescue Mission offers a 13-month New Life Program, which is a free Bible-based program designed for homeless men and women struggling with addictions. Similarly, their Transitions Program provides stability and a pathway off the streets and into permanant housing and employment. Through this program, those experiencing temporary homelessness can stay at Rescue Mission for three to four months while getting help with employment, saving money, and getting into housing while receiving a positive support system. They also offer emergency support services for hot meals, safe shelter, clean clothes, warm showers, and love. Beyond meeting basic physical needs, the Rescue Mission provides daily Bible studies, faith-based recovery meetings, a nightly chapel service, mail reception, baggage check, phone messages and more. Contact the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake directly to learn more about their specific services.
