Rosie's Place is a pioneer women's only shelter that serves women experiencing homelessness in the greater Boston area. Their mission is to offer a safe and supporting living environment that assists women maintain experiencing homelessness or financial insecurity with maintaining their dignity, seeking opportunity and finding security in their lives. Emergency support services include access to three meals a day and a food pantry, essential services like showers and laundry facilities, emergency shelters and a wellness center. Beyond emergency services, Rosie's Place offers ongoing support that includes advocacy support, language classes for non-native English speakers, legal support, policy advocacy and the chance to work within the Women's Craft Cooperative for up to one year. The organization also facilitates community support for women in the community who benefit from peer assistance to ensure that they maintain housing and financial security.
